Avoid mining project delays

Avoid mining project delays

Sectioned Area

Flora and fauna surveys are usually one of the first steps in getting your mining project off the ground. We have a team of highly experienced Ecologists who have worked across the Pilbara in Western Australia for many years.

Your location within WA influences the timing of these surveys, but generally March is the kick-off to the survey season, so now is the time to think about all your survey needs.

Strategen-JBS&G offers a wide suite of ecological services that include:

  • Desktop and reconnaissance surveys
  • Baseline flora and fauna surveys
  • Targeted surveys
  • Monitoring
  • Due Diligence
  • Rehabilitation
  • Management Plans and more.

The Ecology team at Strategen-JBS&G works to develop a clear understanding of your project needs and risks and offers tailor-made solutions.

The lack of rainfall within the Pilbara region during 2019 means survey results from that season may require supplementary sampling.  Given the recent large rainfall events across much of the region, now is perfect time to conduct these surveys to ensure adequate ecological data is collected.

Unsure of whether you need an ecological survey? No problems! We are happy to provide advice on what you need, when you need it and whether you are eligible for exemptions. Missing your survey periods time frame can result in project delays of up to 12 months.

Our team of fast capable experts look forward to assisting you with guidance and advice at any stage of your project. We can be reached via  08 9380 3100 or info@jbsg.com.au
