Jonathan Bailes

Jonathan is a Principal and Team Leader of the Industry, Infrastructure and Technical Services team for JBS&G in Perth.

Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience in environmental assessment, management and regulation gained across government, consultancy, and industry.

Jonathan gained his qualifications in the United Kingdom in environmental geoscience and has significant experience and ability in understanding environmental regulatory, management and compliance frameworks and stakeholder management issues.

With an in-depth working knowledge of State and Commonwealth environmental legislation and approval processes, Jonathan has experience across a broad range of regulated industry sectors including power generation and waste to energy, heavy industry, chemicals, oil and gas, waste management and intensive agriculture.  Jonathan has extensive government networks and wide experience liaising and working with regulatory agency representatives, industry and the community.
