Portfolio Liability Assessment

JBS&G undertook a full review of all previously owned/currently owned and currently leased land in a listed chemical company’s property portfolio. The review focused on understanding and ranking contamination risks, and prioritising the forward investigation program and reporting frameworks to NSW EPA. The risk assessment enabled the client to take informed decisions regarding how to manage potential legacy and future contamination issues, including understanding potential portfolio valuation impacts, and management / remediation costs.  The engagement has involved both desktop and fieldwork based investigations and was undertaken in an accelerated timeframe to meet compliance requirements.
