Barangaroo

JBS&G has been contracted as the primary environmental consultant for the Barangaroo Central, Headland Park and Northern Cove sites. The Barangaroo project represents one of the largest and most controversial 
city redevelopments in recent years and has posed unique environmental contamination problems. The site historically contained a gasworks and was used as part of a stevedoring facility. Environmental investigations at the site indicated the presence of low levels of a number of contaminants associated with its former uses, including both common and highly unusual contaminants. Following review of historical works on the site, JBS&G completed further works on the sites to investigate existing data gaps.
